Pilates for Life Studio

Pilates for Life is committed to providing a safe, purposeful Pilates experience, in an upbeat, enjoyable, and supportive environment.  The studio uses the STOTT PILATES® teaching method to identify each client's specific needs and to develop a plan to help people of all ages and fitness levels change their lives in a positive, healthy way.  The entire studio space is devoted to your session. The full range of Merrithew® equipment, including reformers, stability chairs, cadillac, ladder barrel, and other props is available to you. Sessions are designed to help you gain flexibility, endurance, coordination, balance, core strength, mobility, and mind-body awareness. The intimate, comfortable studio atmosphere will allow you to escape daily stresses and to devote time to your health.

    I discovered Pilates while looking for a way to decrease stress and improve fitness. The mind-body connection that Pilates offers was an immediate draw for me. Realizing that this was my calling, I became a Pilates instructor, hoping to help others improve their personal health.


    I am Polestar® Pilates trained and STOTT PILATES® comprehensive certified in mat, reformer, cadillac, stability chair, and barrels. Additionally, I am a ZEN·GA® Qualified Equipment Instructor and have training in Injuries & Special Populations and Fascial Movement.  Because I want clients to have to best experience possible in my studio, I am continually focused on my professional development and training beyond certification requirements.

     

    I get great satisfaction seeing my clients accomplish their fitness goals. I am motivated and touched by client stories about how Pilates has enhanced their lives, from being able to play with grandchildren to going on long, enjoyable walks. All age groups and skill levels can benefit from Pilates. I work successfully with a variety of people, including athletic people seeking intense workouts, postpartum mothers, breast cancer survivors wanting to increase range of motion, post-orthopedic surgery patients, and many, many others.  My goal is to help you become the best version of yourself.
